Cozy Honey Spiced Chai Latte with Whipped Honey Foam


There’s something wonderfully comforting about wrapping your hands around a warm mug of chai. The gentle steam, the aromatic spices, and the smooth sweetness of honey create a moment of calm that feels like a hug in a cup.

This Honey Spiced Chai Latte brings together fragrant cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom — perfectly balanced with the natural sweetness of Just Bee Honey. It’s soothing, gently energising, and ideal for taking a mindful pause in your day.

To make it feel truly special, we’ve added a light whipped honey foam on top — giving your homemade chai latte that luxurious café-style finish. Whether you’re starting your morning, taking a mid-afternoon break, or winding down in the evening, this comforting drink is a simple way to add a little warmth and wellness to your routine.

Ingredients

For the chai latte:

  • 1 cup (240ml) milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 tsp loose black tea or 1 black tea bag
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp ground cardamom (or a pinch of ground cloves if desired)
  • 1 tsp Just Bee Honey - our Turmeric Honey for that extra warmth, or Valencia Orange Honey for a fruity twist (adjust to taste)
  • Optional: a dash of nutmeg or black pepper

For the whipped honey foam:

  • 2 tbsp milk or cream
  • 1 tsp Just Bee Honey

Method

1. Heat the milk: In a small saucepan, gently warm the milk over medium heat until steaming, but not boiling.

2. Add the spices: Stir in the cinnamon, ginger, cardamom (and optional nutmeg/pepper). Let the spices infuse for 1–2 minutes.

3. Brew the tea: Add the black tea and steep for 2–3 minutes. Remove the tea bag or strain loose leaves.

4. Sweeten: Stir in 1 tsp of your preferred Just Bee Honey until fully dissolved.

5. Make the whipped honey foam: In a small bowl, combine the 2 tbsp milk (or cream) and 1 tsp honey. Froth vigorously with a whisk, milk frother, or small hand blender until light and foamy.

6. Assemble the latte: Pour the chai latte into your favourite mug, then spoon the whipped honey foam on top.

7. Finish and serve: Sprinkle a tiny pinch of cinnamon on top for a beautiful finishing touch. Sip slowly and enjoy your cozy, café-style treat!
